Elizabeth Heller Allen

Elizabeth Heller Allen (BSJ75) is a member of the inaugural class of the Medill Hall of Achievement of 1997. She is the senior vice president for External Affairs for The MetroHealth System, Cleveland’s public hospital. Her 40-year career in corporate communications, marketing, investor relations and government relations has included executive leadership roles in healthcare, technology (Dell), retail (Staples), defense (Raytheon and Loral, now Lockheed Martin) and financial services (Citicorp and Huntington Bank).

Heller Allen was an adjunct professor at Medill (both online and in the classroom), George Washington University and the University of Texas at Austin. She recently completed the Kellogg School of Management’s Women’s Director Development course.
