Russ Nelson joined the IMC faculty as an assistant professor in 2015. Nelson teaches Marketing Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Nelson received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine in Marketing and his B.A. from Northwestern in Cultural Anthropology. His research interests include social networks and quantitative social science. His current research explores the creation of the Southern California gourmet food truck market.
Before joining Northwestern, Nelson consulted for clients including McDonald's, Yahoo!, SC Johnson, BP, Unilever, Merck and the University of California.
