General Information About Financial Aid
Medill is committed to enrolling the most qualified students regardless of ability to pay. Medill's graduate program awards $3 million in institutional grants and donor-sponsored scholarship assistance to incoming students each year. The University also awards financial aid in the form of low-interest loans and work-study opportunities. In combination, these resources enable the Medill program to support all of a student's calculated need.
Medill's Financial Aid team serves three groups of students:
- Prospective MSJ and IMC students - general information about the types
of aid that may be available depending on eligibility, should the student be
admitted
- Admitted students - forms and applications to complete to apply for
financial aid; help in understanding types of financial aid and financial aid
awards
- Currently enrolled students - information on work study, reapplying for
financial aid, changes in circumstances, etc
