ABOUT

Originally established in 1997, MACC served Chicago-area alumni with an array of social and cultural activities for several years. The club was enthusiastically resurrected in early March 2002 at a Tribune Tower reception that attracted 230 alumni, faculty members and guests. There are currently over 150 members.

 

DUES: None - membership is open to all Chicago-area Medill alumni.

 

BOARD MEETINGS: Approximately bimonthly. Subcommittees meet as needed and officers correspond regularly via e-mail and phone.

 

EVENTS: Club leaders aim for three to five high-quality events each year. Contact Kristen (information below) for details. Officer and board positions are available.

 

ACTIVITIES: Events include:

•  Social gatherings/happy hours

•  Cultural activities (trip to Ravinia, museums)  

•  Educational activities (panel discussions, speakers, etc.)  

•  Networking
