ABOUT
Originally established in 1997, the Medill Alumni Club of Chicago (MACC) serves Chicago-area alumni with an array of social and cultural activities. The club was enthusiastically resurrected in early March 2002 at a Tribune Tower reception that attracted 230 alumni, faculty members and guests.
DUES: None - membership is open to all Chicago-area Medill alumni.
BOARD MEETINGS: Approximately bimonthly. Subcommittees meet as needed and officers correspond regularly via e-mail and phone.
ACTIVITIES: Club leaders aim for two to five high-quality events each year. Contact Kristin Lanning for details and/or if you'd like to get involved. Activities include social gatherings/happy hours; cultural trips (Ravinia, museums, etc.); educational activities (panel discussions, speakers, etc.) and networking events.
