MEDILLINK for Journalism and IMC Alumni – Our career management system is for the exclusive use of Medill students and alumni -- and employers who wish to tap Medill talent. It allows you to:
- Upload multiple cover letters, resumes, clips and other documents
- Apply directly to Medill-specific jobs posted in the system
- Save settings for job searches to be used again at the click of a button
- Set automatic notifications to announce when new postings are in the system

Individual Career Advising – Career Advisers are available to discuss your search strategy, review resumes and cover letters, offer negotiation strategy and consult on other career-related issues. Career Advising is available to all alumni of Medill’s degree and certificate programs in IMC and journalism. Career advisers coach alums by phone, Skype and email as well as in person on campus. Advising covers a variety of career management issues, including resume review, job-search strategies and negotiations.
Medill Career Fairs: We are in the planning phase for these events in the 2016-17 academic year. We anticipate an IMC fair in the fall quarter at our new Chicago office and a regular fair on the Evanston campus in the Winter quarter. Alums are welcome at these fairs.
