“Writing has been an important part of my life since I was a child,” Thom says. “But after attending Medill I finally pursued writing professionally and now have managed to create work by weaving my life into my writing. Medill not only gave me the foundation I needed, but also the confidence to call myself a writer. Plus, the year I spent at Medill still stands out as one of my favorite experiences.”
All six of the Go! Go! Sports Girls Read & Play sets won the highest award in the toy industry, The Oppenheim Platinum Toy Award.
