In the new book "Afghanistan: A Distant War," renowned photojournalist Robert Nickelsberg’s images help bring into focus the day-to-day consequences of war, poverty, oppression and political turmoil in Afghanistan. Nickelsberg will share his photographs from the region – which he began covering in 1988 – in a special presentation and discussion.

Film Screening of Scenes of a Crime with a Q&A with the filmmakers, Grover Babcock and Blue Hadaesh. Food and drinks included after the screening.
