Adjunct Faculty

Susan  E.  Anderson

Adjunct Lecturer

I worked as a reporter/anchor for CBS in Chicago for more than 20 years. I was among the first wave of women into television journalism. I began the first local TV consumer investigative unit in the country and introduced CBS' first mini-cam. I also hosted a magazine show called "two-on-two". And, I was the first to work pregnant 'on the air' in Chicago. Prior to becoming a broadcaster, I worked for several years in the Mayor's Office of Boston and taught high school history at the Latin School of Chicago. I now head my own consulting/training business and teach at Medill. I'm married with two children: Olivia (Yale '05) who teaches in Manhattan and Harrison, a physics major at Beloit College. I graduated with honors from the U. of Illinois.
