This course will teach students how to be more effective communicators in their roles as marketing professionals. Each week the students will have the opportunity to hone their skills as writers, speakers, negotiators, and brand advocates. The course will begin with an overview of persuasion theory and communications fundamentals. The course will then show how those principles apply to the most common communications channels that marketers use today, including: websites, email marketing, content marketing, advertising, live presentations, and negotiations.
