Scott L. Klug (MSJ76) is the managing director, public affairs for Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the Government & Public Affairs Practice and Sports Industry Team.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Klug served four terms in the United States House of Representatives, representing Wisconsin's Second Congressional District. He served on the influential House Commerce Subcommittee on Health and the Environment, specializing in health care, environmental and telecommunications policy.

Mr. Klug has strong ties to Republican leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives, Senate and presidential administration, and personal relationships with cabinet members from the Homeland Security, Energy, Health and Human Services, and Transportation Departments.

Mr. Klug received his undergraduate degree from Lawrence University and an M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Mr. Klug is the former vice president of business development for an investment firm and an investigative reporter. Mr. Klug has received national acclaim for his media strategy work.
