Monica Eng

Adjunct Lecturer

Monica Eng is a veteran, award-winning Chicago journalist who started as a copy clerk at the Chicago Sun Times in 1985. Since then she has served as an editor and reporter, focusing on food, health and culture, at the Daily Southtown, Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune. In 2013 she moved to radio, becoming a producer and reporter at WBEZ, Chicago Public Media. There she still covers food, health and the environment, with her main beat focusing on questions about Chicago for the Curious City show.
