Meet Medill

The best way to learn about the IMC graduate program is to interact with our students, faculty and staff. If you’re in the area, visit us in Chicago or Evanston to see our students in action. Watch a recorded information session or meet us at an event near you. We'll continue to update this page as more events are added. We hope to see you soon.

Information sessions and webcasts

Attending an in-person or online information session is a great way to learn more about the IMC Online program. You'll meet staff, faculty, current students or alumni who can answer your questions about how our programs can help you achieve your career goals. You'll also hear from our admissions team about the application process.

We currently do not have an information session scheduled. As more dates become available, we will post them on this page.

Conferences, campus visits and events

We often attend conferences, visit college campuses and participate in other events across the country. We hope to see you there.

Campus visits

NOTE: Based on University guidelines in response to nationwide COVID-19 developments, we have made the difficult decision to join many other colleges in canceling all tours, information sessions and large gatherings for prospective students. These events are canceled at Northwestern and Medill until April 18, 2020. The University be monitoring the situation in the coming weeks to make decisions about visit options in late April. We look forward to welcoming you to campus as soon as we're able.

While most IMC Online students work and live remotely, you're welcome to visit our Evanston or downtown Chicago campuses to learn about the IMC community and interact with Medill colleagues in person. During your visit, you'll gain a deeper understanding of our programs, talk with an admissions counselor and see first-hand our unique approach to marketing communications in the digital age.

Plan your visit

To arrange a visit, please fill out this form and tell us about your interests and availability. Our admissions team will then contact you to plan your visit.
