Meet Medill

The best way to learn about all our graduate programs is to interact with our faculty, staff and students. Visit us in Chicago and see our students in action, or watch a recorded information session whenever you like. We'll continue to update this page as more events are added. We hope to see you soon.

Information sessions

Attending an in-person or online information session is a great way to learn more about the IMC Part-Time program. You'll meet staff, faculty, current students or alumni who can answer your questions about how our programs can help you achieve your career goals. You'll also hear from our admissions team about the application process.

We currently do not have an information session scheduled. We will post additional dates on this page as they become available.

Conferences, campus visits and events

We often attend conferences, visit college campuses and participate in other events across the country. We hope to see you there.

Campus visits

NOTE: Based on University guidelines in response to nationwide COVID-19 developments, we have made the difficult decision to join many other colleges in canceling all tours, information sessions and large gatherings for prospective students. These events are canceled at Northwestern and Medill until April 18, 2020. The University be monitoring the situation in the coming weeks to make decisions about visit options in late April. We look forward to welcoming you to campus as soon as we're able.

Classes meet in our downtown Chicago campus at 303 E. Wacker Drive. You’re welcome to visit this space to learn about the community and interact with Medill colleagues. Campus visits give you the opportunity to talk to an admissions counselor, sit in on a class, meet a faculty member and/or take a tour of our facilities. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of a campus visit to get a distinct feel for what your time at Medill would be like.

Plan your visit

To arrange a visit, please fill out this form and tell us about your interests and availability. Our admissions team will then contact you to plan your visit.
