Meet Medill

The best way to learn about the Integrated Marketing Communications Professional master's program is to interact with our students, faculty and staff. If you’re in the area, visit us in Chicago to see our students in action. Attend a virtual webinar, participate in an information session or meet us at an event near you. We'll continue to update this page as more events are added. We hope to meet you soon.

Information sessions and webinars

Attending an in-person or online information session is a great way to learn more about the IMC Professional master's program. You'll meet staff, faculty, current students and/or alumni who can answer your questions about how IMC Professional can help you achieve your career goals. You'll also hear from our admissions team about the application process.

We do not currently have any events scheduled. As they are added, we will post them on this page.

Conferences, campus visits and events

We often attend conferences, visit college campuses and participate in other events across the country. These events are currently canceled due to COVID-19; we will add them to this page as they are scheduled.

An interview is required as part of the IMC Professional application. You can schedule an interview at any time during the application process. We encourage you to schedule your interview prior to submitting your application or no later than two weeks afterward. Interviews can be conducted in-person at Medill’s downtown Chicago and Evanston campuses or virtually.

Campus visits

NOTE: Based on Northwestern University guidelines in response to nationwide COVID-19 developments, we have made the difficult decision to join many other colleges in canceling all tours, information sessions and large gatherings for prospective students. These events are canceled at Northwestern and Medill until further notice. Northwestern will be monitoring the situation in the coming weeks to make decisions about future visit options. We look forward to welcoming you to campus as soon as we're able.

While a number of our IMC Professional students work and live remotely, we welcome you to visit our downtown Chicago or Evanston campuses to learn about the IMC community and interact with Medill faculty and staff in person. During your visit, you'll gain a deeper understanding of our programs, talk with an admissions officer and see first-hand our unique approach to marketing communications in the digital age.

Plan your visit

Our campus visits are currently suspended due to COVID-19. When they resume, we will post details on how to schedule your visit.
