John Christensen (MSA80) was inducted into the Medill Hall of Achievement in 2004.
He is the founder of Christensen Advertising (chrisad) and co-founder of the CS Foundation, a California-based dental practice marketing agency. He founded the company in 1980 after earning his master's degree from Medill. The San Francisco native also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis and a law degree from Gonzaga University. Christensen also attended law school and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California. In addition to his pioneering work with chrisad, Christensen works with CS Foundation, a non-profit he founded with Medill classmate Shekar Swamy to help impoverished parts of rural India.
Christensen has written eight books on various aspects of the dental practice growth management process.
