Kathryn W. Kolbe

Kathryn W. Kolbe (BSJ61) is a member of the inaugural class of the Medill Hall of Achievement of 1997.

She founded Kolbe Corp, which provides materials, insights, and experts to help people of all ages identify their instinctive talents, develop their confidence, and use their innate abilities to succeed. An entrepreneur, educator, and best-selling author, Kolbe pioneered the identification of a distinct cluster of human behaviors that led to breakthroughs in the understanding and use of innate abilities.

As the leading authority on human instincts, Kolbe has amassed more than 500,000 case studies to validate her discoveries in the field of instinct and human behavior. Kolbe now serves as the chairman of the board chief creative officer of Kolbe Corp.
