Steve Bell

Steve Bell is Endowed Chair Emeritus in Telecommunications at Ball State University. He served as a News Correspondent for ABC News from 1967 – 1986. His assignments included national political campaigns and conventions, war correspondent in Vietnam and Cambodia, Hong Kong Bureau Chief and White House Correspondent. He also anchored the news segments of ABC’s “World News This Morning” and “Good Morning America” for more than a decade. Bell received several Emmy awards, an Overseas Press Club Award and a Headliner’s Award. Since 1998 he has served as faculty director for an annual seminar on Politics and the Media for the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.
