Free online courses

Medill faculty teach in four of Northwestern's massive open online courses (MOOCs): Social Media Marketing, Content Strategy for Professionals, Sports Marketing and Organizational Leadership.

Northwestern offers all of its online courses at no cost to alumni. You can earn a course certificate and gain access to all Northwestern MOOC content on Coursera free of charge.

Medill's robust alumni network includes official clubs in various cities. The number of annual events for each club varies, and all clubs offer a wide variety of events and networking opportunities for Medill graduates.

Career services for alumni

As an alum of Medill's degree and certificate programs in journalism or IMC, you have free access to search for jobs and talent to hire on Handshake, Medill's career management platform.

Medill has a wealth of talented students and alumni in journalism and integrated marketing communications. Many alumni hire other alumni because they have seen the value of a Medill education first-hand.
