Lecturer – Solutions Journalism

Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications is seeking a qualified candidate to lead classroom instruction and external training programs for news organizations and educators in the growing practice of solutions journalism. Solutions journalism is an approach that applies rigorous investigative and contextual reporting to widely shared problems. With the help of this position, Medill is endeavoring to be a Midwest hub and national leader in solutions journalism. This is a full-time lecturer position, with expectations for teaching courses, traveling and organizing events. The Medill teaching will focus on solutions journalism with other courses assigned as needed. Qualified candidates will demonstrate:
