Carlos Zepeda of Moet Hennessy USA chosen as IMC convocation speaker
Ceremony will take place Dec. 14
EVANSTON, ILL. -- Carlos Zepeda (IMC98), senior vice president of Strategy, Marketing Capability and Chief of Staff for Moet Hennessy USA, will address the Integrated Marketing Communications master’s graduates and their families at Medill’s convocation ceremony Dec. 14.
Zepeda joined Moet Hennessy as vice president for Belvedere Vodka in 2014, leading the U.S. business and marketing agenda for the brand. Today he is responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team that serves as a strategic partner to the organization to drive growth and enable brand experiences that increase brand desirability. In addition to this scope, Zepeda is chief of staff to the CEO, focusing on setting goals for the enterprise and driving resourcing alignment. He is co-chair for ANA’s Educational Foundation Talent Forward Committee and an advisory board member of Fashion Institute of Technology’s (FIT) global marketing program.
This spring, Zepeda was inducted into Medill’s Hall of Achievement, its highest honor bestowed on alumni.

Prior to joining Moet Hennessy USA, Zepeda worked at Havaianas as the Vice President of Marketing, leading the expansion of the Brazilian brand in the U.S. He also held several marketing roles at PepsiCo over a span of ten years where he headed marketing for Diet Pepsi, Starbucks Frappuccino Ready-to-Drink, and customer marketing for the Foodservice division.
