Dean’s Scholarships now open to incoming Medill graduate students
No additional application is required for the $40,000 scholarships
EVANSTON, ILL. -- Dean’s Scholarships of $40,000 each are now available for five journalism graduate students and five Integrated Marketing Communications Full-Time students who plan to start at Medill in Fall 2026.
“Supporting students pursuing our graduate degree’s is a priority of mine as dean, and I’m delighted to be able to offer these scholarships,” said Medill Dean Charles Whitaker. “I know that the recipients of these funds will use their time studying at Medill to launch successful careers.”
Students will be considered through the materials submitted in their admissions application; no additional submissions are required. The Dean’s Scholarship will be awarded to applicants with outstanding merit:
- an excellent academic record
- strong writing/video samples
- relevant work experience
- outstanding student involvement during an undergraduate program
Admitted students will be notified of the Dean’s Scholarship decision after their official admission to the program.
