Robert J. "Bud" Korengold

Robert J. “Bud” Korengold (BSJ51) is a member of the Medill Hall of Achievement.

Korengold describes himself as a “former just about anything.” A native of Minnesota and a Korean War veteran, he moved to Europe in 1955 after serving one year in New Orleans as editor of the U.S. 8th Naval District magazine, The Word.

He now lives in Normandy writing reflections about life in France and with the French as the senior correspondent for the website www.Bonjourparis.com.
