Scott Klug

Scott Klug (MSJ76) is a member of the inaugural class of the Medill Hall of Achievement of 1997.

Klug is the managing director, public affairs for Foley & Lardner LLP.

Before joining the firm, Klug served four terms in the United States House of Representatives, representing Wisconsin's Second Congressional District. He served on the House Commerce Subcommittee on Health and the Environment, specializing in health care, environmental and telecommunications policy.

Mr. Klug received his undergraduate degree from Lawrence University and an M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Before his career in politics, Klug was an investigative reporter for television stations in Washington, D.C., Seattle and his native Wisconsin.
