Susan Page

Susan Page (BSJ73) is a member of the Medill Hall of Achievement.

Page is the Washington bureau chief for USA Today, where she writes about the White House and national politics. She also regularly guest-hosts “The Diane Rehm Show” on NPR and frequently appears on CNN and other broadcast outlets.

She has been covering American politics and the presidency for more than 25 years. She has won national awards for her reporting, including the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency, the Merriman Smith Memorial Award for Deadline Reporting on the Presidency and the Sigma Delta Chi Award for Washington Correspondence (shared).

She has covered 10 presidential elections and interviewed eight presidents. She joined USA Today as a White House correspondent in 1995 after covering the White House and national politics for Newsday.
