Kai Bird
Kai Bird (MSJ75) co-wrote the biography, American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, for which he shared a 2006 Pulitzer with co-author Martin J. Sherwin.
Prior to his Pulitzer win, Bird served as associate editor and columnist for The Nation. He is the recipient of fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, the German Marshall Fund and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C., among others.
