Lisa Pollak

Lisa Pollak (MSJ92) joined The Baltimore Sun in 1996 as a general assignment features writer. Early on in her career at The Sun, Pollak was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in the feature writing category, for a story that profiled a baseball umpire dealing with the death of his young son from a genetic disease. After The Sun, Pollak joined This American Life as a public radio producer.
