Casey Drottar

Casey Drottar

Adjunct Lecturer

Casey Drottar is an adjunct instructor at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications.

Drottar has been a sports writer since 2008, and is currently an editorial producer for Major League Baseball. His work has been seen in the Associated Press, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, Pitcher List and Bleacher Report. He has covered the Cubs, White Sox, and Bulls for AP, and served as the outlet's official rep for the Chicago Sky's 2021 WNBA Championship game.

Education: Drottar earned his undergraduate degree in communication from the University of Dayton in 2008, and graduated with a masters in the science of journalism from Medill in 2021.
