Dave Bryla has over 35 years of consumer products marketing experience across multiple categories. He started his career at General Mills working on brands like Wheaties, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Cocoa Puffs. In the mid-90s he and his partners bought the James Page Brewing Company and launched the James Page Blubber Run 5K which was a major autumn event in the Twin Cities for almost 20 years. After a few years in mergers and acquisitions he joined Mattel to lead the Matchbox toy car business and was responsible for the award-winning Matchbox 50th Birthday event. He then moved on the become Chief Marketing Officer at Reynolds Consumer Products where he partnered with the Chicago Cubs on the Reynolds Wrap tarp at Wrigley Field which has protected the friendly confines since 2015. He left Reynolds to become CEO of the landfill reduction company WasteZero that is on a successful mission to cut the trash in half. Bryla is currently CEO of the PE-backed OWS Foods which is the expert in making BBQ rubs and sauces.
