Emily Withrow

Emily Withrow is a professor of practice at Medill, teaching online publishing, multimedia storytelling, and interactive narrative to both undergraduate and graduate students. Prior to joining Medill, she was an editor at The A.V. Club, the arts and entertainment arm of The Onion, where she wrote, edited, and managed online content, as well as devised the publication's social media strategy and developed interactive stories and templates for the site. She has also worked at the McKinsey Quarterly, The Associated Press, and CBS.
