
Sheldon Zenner
Adjunct Lecturer
Sheldon Zenner is an adjunct lecturer at Medill. He has taught Law and Ethics of Journalism, Covering the Courts and Story Telling. He was on the Editorial Board at Chicago Lawyer magazine and has written book, theatre and film reviews.
A graduate of Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, he is primarily a trial lawyer, honing his story telling skills in a courtroom. He has worked as a federal prosecutor and a defense lawyer navigating his clients through high-stakes matters, government investigations, regulatory scrutiny and related civil actions.
He was awarded the Northwestern Law Distinguished Alumni Award and the Legal Assistance Foundation Champion for Justice Award, among other accolades over the course of his career. He also serves as a Trustee at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.
