Advanced Sports Reporting

This class will build upon the reporting and writing foundations and enter the realm of sports analysis and commentary. Students will go beyond describing what happened, using advanced metrics to explain how and why things happen, while developing the ability to explain what it means and where it will lead. There will be emphasis on creating a distinctive writing voice as well as the ability to deliver commentary across visual and audio platforms.
