Knight Lab: Artificial Intelligence in Media

Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how people create and engage with journalism. Working in multidisciplinary student teams you will come together to collaboratively produce cutting-edge digital projects—innovating across every part of the journalistic process, from ideation, information-gathering, and content creation, to publication, dissemination, and audience interaction. The process combines research, design thinking, building, user testing, critical and analytical work, storytelling, technology, and experimentation aimed at addressing a single, specific problem. This class is a team-based, cooperative lab experience for students to create and explore new tools, techniques, and approaches to journalism and media.
