Alison Goldman

Adjunct Lecturer

Alison Goldman is an adjunct lecturer at Medill. As a writer and editor, she has crafted culture and lifestyle content with an emphasis on women's issues for publications including The Boston Globe and The Boston Globe Magazine, Chicago magazine,, Glamour, The Lily, Self and Women's Health.

Most recently, Goldman served as the lifestyle editor at Boston Globe Media's, where she oversaw the lifestyle team's coverage of arts and entertainment, food and restaurants, travel, and wellness, and she co-edited the Globe's popular Names page.

Prior to, Goldman was a senior associate editor at, editing the fitness, life and style verticals. She started her career as an editorial assistant at Glamour following a Medill Journalism Residency at the magazine.


Goldman graduated summa cum laude from Medill in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in theatre.
