Adjunct Lecturer

Alison Goldman is an adjunct lecturer at Medill. As a writer and editor, she has crafted culture and lifestyle content with an emphasis on women's issues for publications including The Boston Globe and The Boston Globe Magazine, Chicago magazine, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, The Lily from The Washington Post, Self and Women's Health.

Goldman currently serves as the special projects director at Apartment Therapy, managing large-scale editorial projects for the site. Previously, she worked as the lifestyle editor at Boston Globe Media's Boston.com, where she oversaw the lifestyle team's coverage of arts and entertainment, food and restaurants, travel, and wellness, and she co-edited the Globe's popular Names page. Prior to Boston.com, Goldman was a senior associate editor at WomensHealthMag.com, editing the fitness, life, and style verticals.

She started her career as an editorial assistant at Glamour following a Medill Journalism Residency at the magazine.
