Book Proposal Writing Workshop
How to Write – And Sell – A Non-Fiction Book Proposal
Do you have a compelling idea for a non-fiction book, but aren’t sure how to get it published? This online workshop will guide you through the process of writing a persuasive and compelling book proposal—an essential tool for landing a deal with a literary agent or publisher.
Led by Cheryl Tan, Senior Lecturer and George R. R. Martin Chair in Storytelling, who successfully sold her international bestselling memoir A Tiger in the Kitchen on the strength of her proposal, this session will provide you with the knowledge and structure needed to craft a proposal that publishers and agents are eager to read.
In this three-hour class, you’ll learn the key components that make up a successful book proposal, gain insight into your unique voice, and leave with a blueprint for the proposal that will help you turn your book idea into a reality.
