Reuters Journalism Scholarship

The Reuters Journalism Scholarship supports students who are interested in business, politics or foreign affairs reporting.

The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student and includes:

• A total of $40,000 in scholarships from Medill and Reuters to assist with tuition for the Medill graduate journalism program
• Three-month post-graduate internship at Reuters in New York
• Opportunities to meet with and be mentored by Reuters editors during your year at Medill

Who may apply

The scholarship is open to students who are accepted and enroll at Medill.

How to apply

Submit an application to Medill by the deadlines of Round 1 & 2 to be given priority consideration.

Additional financial aid

Students eligible for federal financial aid (U.S. citizens or permanent residents) can submit the FAFSA to receive information on federal student loans. All students may also research private loans.
