EVANSTON, ILL. -- Today the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications opened its applications for the Class of 2025 for its Integrated Marketing Communications Full-Time program. Admitted students will begin in Fall 2024 at Northwestern University.
“Our world-renowned IMC program attracts students from across the globe,” said Associate Dean Vijay Viswanathan. “The IMC program’s focus on blending data and creativity to build strong brands is both the present and future of the marketing industry, and we look forward to welcoming our next class.”
Integrated Marketing Communications, pioneered at Medill, is a strategic, innovative approach through which organizations drive performance by engaging, serving and communicating with consumers. Medill’s 15 month program in Evanston, Illinois – within sight of downtown Chicago – offers not only academic excellence but real-world experience through its Immersion Quarter. Students spend the summer working with businesses on solving current marketing challenges. Students also have the opportunity to learn about marketing in other cultures through global travel opportunities.
The STEM designated program allows students to gain a breadth of knowledge across all of integrated marketing communications as well as depth in key sequence areas:
- Consumer Insights and Analytics
- Brand Strategy
- Strategic Communications
- Media
Students who earn their master’s degree from Medill in Integrated Marketing Communications go on to jobs at consumer brands, marketing agencies, nonprofits and other companies. Six months after graduating in 2021, 90 percent of graduates were employed.
