Application
Students in all undergraduate schools at Northwestern are eligible to apply to the IMC Certificate program. You may apply to the program at the end of your sophomore year, after successful completion of the three prerequisite courses. The grades for these three courses must be reflected on your transcript at the time of application, unless you are completing the third prerequisite in the quarter that you apply. Those students are eligible to receive a conditional acceptance while completing that course. Students must earn a minimum GPA of 3.2 in the three prerequisites in order to be considered.
Students will be required to complete a 500-word essay as part of the application process. Details will be found accompanying the application form.
Applications will be accepted from April 1-15 each spring quarter.
If you have questions about your eligibility, contact Tom Hayden, academic director of Undergraduate IMC Certificate Program.
