Medill Student Affairs and Academic Advising is here to support all students throughout their undergraduate lifecycle as a student, from orientation to graduation.

Summer communication and orientation

Prior to orientation, the academic advising team meets with students to prepare for the start of classes. At orientation, students will participate in an engaging and informative program on Medill curriculum and requirements.

Professional development

Students involved in national journalism associations will get the opportunity to attend conferences where they can meet professionals and build their network. One of the associations Medill students can join is the National Association of Black Journalists pictured above at the NABJ conference.
