Admissions
We’re excited that you’re considering the Medill IMC master’s program to help you achieve your professional goals. We’re here to answer any questions you have about the program and the admissions process as well as connect you with current students, alumni and faculty.
We look forward to introducing you to the Medill community and receiving your application.
Updates due to COVID-19
Northwestern Medill is working with prospective students in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Your health and well-being, along with that of the Medill community, are our top priority.
- Application fee waivers are available pending approval by the director of our office, Julie Collins. Please submit any requests to waive the application fee to Julie at collinsj@northwestern.edu.
- Medill will accept scores submitted through the new virtual testing model for the GRE/GMAT.
- If you are unable to take the GRE/GMAT or TOEFL/IELTS tests, you can still apply. Please reach out to Tatyana Rodriguez tatyana.rodriguez@northwestern.edu for information on test score waiver options.
- If you are ineligible to receive a waiver, we will wait to render your final admissions decision until we receive your scores. If you are unable to submit test scores in time for receiving a decision this year, we will roll your application materials forward to next year so that you don’t have to re-submit another application.
