We work with you to make sure the classes you take and the activities you participate in prepare you for the career you want to pursue. Our team is available throughout the year to talk with you as you move through the IMC program. And we’re there to celebrate your success at graduation.

Summer communication and orientation
Over the summer, we’ll be in touch with information to help you prepare for the start of classes, and we’ll set up channels to connect you with your fellow students. At orientation, we’ll help you start off your career at Medill with a fun and informative program.
Academic Advising
You can meet with us throughout the year to discuss academic progress, personal and professional goals and dreams, and your Medill experience.
IMC Student Ambassadors
Student Life staff members advise our IMC Student Ambassadors, which works to continually improve the Medill student experience.
Building the Medill community
We build Medill pride with events throughout the year, including student appreciation events and social activities.
